Tuesday , 12pm-1pm (novice)
Thursday, 12pm-1pm (experienced)
This time of isolation is a marvellous opportunity to look inward and assess life, particularly our art and our music. The development of our body awareness plays a huge role in how we see ourselves and how we function as artists and musicians in relation to our instruments.

Conducting - Lars Kaario
Monday-Friday, 1pm-2pm
If you've always wondered what a conductor actually does, this is a good introductory course for you!

Flutes Only - Christie Reside
Monday-Friday, 11am-12pm
The virtual Flutes Onlys class will be very similar to what I've done at WCAMS in-person camp.

Oboes Only - Heather Haydu
Monday-Friday, 12pm-1pm
Every class will be a Master Class set up, with each oboist playing for a small portion of the class. I think of it as more of a round table discussion / demonstration.

Clarinets Only - Cris Inguanti
Monday-Friday, 2pm-3pm
I'm planning to approach the clarinets-only component of "virtual WCAMS" in our usual master-class format...

Bassoons Only - Sophie Dansereau
Monday-Friday, 1pm-2pm
The bassoon class will follow a similar approach to the one found in a regular year.

Saxophones Only - Julia Nolan
Monday-Friday, 3pm-4pm

I've developed a plan of action to work with basic to advanced skills and any of your topics of interest to manage an educational, interactive, and entertaining workshop for saxophones only. Join me!

Recorders Only - Deborah Jackson
Monday-Friday, 10am-11am
Join Deborah as she leads you, playing along in real time, through a short diaphragm warm-up; a few long tones; followed by some studies.

Trumpets Only - Jim Littleford
Monday-Friday, 3pm-4pm
The Trumpets Only class will be in a masterclass format.

Each class will start with a group warm-up (10-15 minutes) going through different trumpet basics and concepts each day.

French Horns Only - Andrew Mee
Monday-Friday, 2pm-3pm
In our French horn masterclass we will discuss and learn about the fundamentals of horn playing, the power of a practice routine and the mental aspects of playing this instrument that seems ready to explode at any point!

Lower Brass Only - Sharman King
Monday-Friday, 4pm-5pm
Depending on instrumentation an Only Class could be daily warm ups followed by either a Master Class format with one or two people playing per day and encouraging comments from the group or group playing.

Violins Only - Becky Whitling and Karen Gerbrecht
Monday-Friday, 11am-12pm (beg/int)
Monday-Friday, 12pm-1pm (adv)
It's hard to imagine not getting together for our traditional 5 days of WCAMS Violins Only this summer. While some of our usual activities, such as playing scales together and preparing violin ensemble repertoire, will be impossible, there are many aspects of our normal class that will adapt well to an online experience.

Violas Only - Isabelle Roland
Monday-Friday, 2pm-3pm
This year's online violas-only class will be a mix of playing duos and trios together, viola technique focusing on bow strokes (chords, spiccato, string crossings) and developing our beautiful viola sound.

Cellos Only - Cristian Markos
Monday-Friday, 3pm-4pm
The cello class will cover a wide variety of topics, from basic set up and technique to advanced performing skills, practice tips, 'pro tricks' and other insider info on how to deal with daily challenges of playing the cello, or even just carrying the thing.

Double Basses Only - Meaghan Williams
Monday-Friday, 4pm-5pm
The Double Basses class will cover basic technical principles of playing including both French and German bows as well as left hand technique.

Guitars Only - Elliot Langford
Monday-Friday, 11am-12pm
The guitar course will look at the some of the basics of folk, rock, pop and blues guitar playing.

Ukuleles Only - Heather Stubbs
Monday-Friday, 12pm-1pm
We will have a mini uke-jam each day with a daily theme. Everyone, all levels, are invited to any or all sessions. Fun, participation, and singing with gusto highly encouraged!

Pianos Only - Eric Hominick & Trish Plumley
Monday-Friday, 10am-11am
The Pianos Only session will be a combination of lectures and masterclasses led by both Eric and Trish.
